Improv and Physics dramatic Improv Class with Tony Rielage
This focus on using the environment as a player your scenes, to fully support your every movement, emotional choice, and connection to your scene partner. Students will get an introduction to Theatre Momentum style of dramatic improvisation, and learn about the connection between the physical environment and accessing strong character emotions.
Improv and Physics Intensive
This intensive serves as an abbreviated introduction to the Theatre Momentum style of dramatic improvisation.
Students will learn about the connection between strong scene work and the physical environment in self, scene partner, and environment. Learn to be vulnerable and off-balance, get out of your head and into the moment, and use your environment to feed rich and engaging scenes.
Instructor: Tony Rielage
Tony is the Artistic Director and Founder of Theatre Momentum. He has been performing, directing, and producing improv theatre since 1992. He has trained at iO Theater, the Annoyance Theatre, and the Playground Theater, and founded TM’s precursor workshop, Workshop-in-Progress. He is Theatre Momentum’s head instructor, and firmly believes that the best improv is about vulnerable human beings acting naturally, bravely, and honestly.
