Miki's Play Date with Jeremie Day-Glider
Zoom is a cinematic media, but we improvisers are, for the most part, treating it like a stage and overlooking some exciting opportunities. This workshop explores cinematic ways to activate our Zoom improv using techniques used by film and television. By the end, we will have expanded our view of what Zoom, and hopefully, improv on Zoom can be.
Jeremie has been working in theatre for over 20 years and, since joining the Barcelona Improv Group in April 2013, has taught, performed, directed, and created new forms of improv in Barcelona and at international festivals. Additionally, and directly related to this workshop, Jeremie worked in film and television in Hollywood for 4 years and co-owned a videography company in Maine for 6. She has experienced every level of pre to post production and has first-hand knowledge of the tools and techniques used to create visually and emotionally engaging film and television.
