This is a deposit for a planned prolonged exploration (5-8 weeks) with Felipe on Magical Realism and is fully refundable if final dates and times do not fit in your schedules the date and time are for placeholders only. Once we have sufficient interest Felipe can assess his schedule and suggest dates/times
Cost will depend on final number of sessions and performances tidal cost for session plus up to 4 performances is estimated to be approximately $270 for VIF members Members of Felipe's VIF intensive plus others interested in exploring Magical realism in depth are welcome to participate
FELIPE ORTIZ is a performer, director and teacher interested in exchanging, interacting, playing and sharing experiences with different artists around the world. He's curious about the body in movement and its possibilities, that's why he explores it through acrobatics, improvisation, clowning, physical theater and object manipulation to create new forms of expression in the performing arts. As a performer he's been touring around the world with different projects in festivals, companies and collaborating with artists in these areas. He's a well known international impro, physical theater and clown teacher. He's currently working as a clown, acrobatics and impro teacher at the Javeriana University in Bogota. He has been the artistic director of La Gata Cirko (new circus company) for 17 years and co director for 10 years of the improv ensemble PICNIC.
