You will not be able to receive any money back from VIF for any reason if you purchase this ticket. You may want to consider purchasing Trip Cancellation insurance. We do not recommend any services but we do know someone paid under $100 last year for 75% coverage. It requires receipts that meet their specifications, It has been 4 months and the refund is in process.
Our goal with offering a refundable ticket option this year is to try to assure VIF can pay festival expenses as they arise but also to offer our members the peace of mind if some untoward event occurs that they can receive a refund of the majority of their expenses with minimum hassle in a timely way.
If you choose this option but have buyers remorse, you can contact [email protected] improv.org within 48 hours of payment and request to convert to the refundable option. She will send you a bill for the balance which must be paid in full within 72 hours of the time she sends it.
This option allows a no hassle cancel for any reason option. The most you receive back is 75% of your original total festival fee which incudes the basic festival fee plus any additional services and lodging you order.
There is an associated administrative fee that increases as we get closer to the actual festival.

In addition, locations closer to the water , rooms with views etc are available, These typically cost at least $320 per. Person in a double occupancy for the length of the festival.

This year we may bring guests. They need to support our Vintage Improv Community by paying the annual membership. That is how we will plan for their attendance. They will pay a supporting festival fee of $150 plus a daily rate for food and lodging which we will calculate later. Their total payment will depend on if they are adding single supplements or premium lodging. We will figure that out for you later and they can also have a non-refundable or refundable option. They can decide if the improv vacation is worth it for them. All you are out now is their membership fee. And we appreciate that support.

The final cost of a longitudinal intensive is based on the number of hours it runs. We plan for most to run between 10-12 hours. Some but not a all will have performances associated. We pay faculty for their time at the performance so you may note differences in longitudinal costs based on multiple factors. We believe this deposit should cover about 50% of the cost for most of our longitudinals.
You receive a rank based on your purchase order and we offer priority choice based on your order of purchase. We can not hold that rank indefinitely so when you are asked to respond, please do it in a timely manner.
