another 8 week performance oriented genre ensemble experience, this time with Chris Mead Final dates TBA but will probably be on Monday or Tuesday 12-2 pm ET There will be 6 prep rehearsals, in the last 2 weeks rehearsals with performance feedback and then at least 2 more shows with review and feedback preference given to members of the Newport Follues ensemble and Chris Mead's Sci-Fi intensive but other interested experienced improvisers will be considered Final cost is estimated to be $270 but may vary slightly depending on final instructor hours
Hi there, I'm Chris.
I'm a UK-based performer and theatre-maker who teaches and coaches improvisation in London.
I studied theatre at Royal Holloway College and improvisation at iO and The Annoyance Theatre in Chicago. I am the co-artistic director of The Nursery Theatre, a space in London dedicated to improv as a theatrical art form. I'm a member of the internationally-renowned ensemble The Maydays, one half of sci-fi duo Project2 and recently co-founded Unmade Theatre Co. to pursue new projects as a director and performer.
I'm also the host of YesBot, a podcast about the theory and craft of improv. love improv. It's at the heart of everything I do.
