Meisner inspired Improvisation for the Ensembkr
Learn how the two techniques of improvisation and Meisner meld perfectly. See how they can eventually lead to emotionally truthful dramatic long form plays. Add in the extra concept of camera work, and the potential is improvised cinema. We will look at basic repetition technique of Sanford Meisner, and how it can be applied to improvisation. We will allow a new guiding concept that the audience should be ahead of the performer, to develop the scenes. We will examine the role and possibilities of the third person in the scene. The recent Vintage taster session opened new doors, being called intelligent impro.
