TROUPE SUBMISSIONS FOR VIF 2021

This is the place where you as the troupe producer/coach or spokesperson submit to perform in  VIF 2021- September 8-12 2021.

1. Complete a separate free transaction here for each Troupe you produce that is applying to perform at VIF2021.

2. Only 1 person per troupe completes this submission.

3. If you are planning on submitting two troupes, please complete one submission and check out before you start another one or the data will get merged.

4. Please note that each and  every person in your troupe must complete an individual submission as well in order for your Troupe's submission to be complete

5. If your members have not joined VIF for 2021 please encourage them to do so because they get a significant discount and access to members benefits for the rest of 2021.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Work+Study plans may be available should  willingness and skills that help to complete valuable festival tasks exist, Select scholarship opportunities exist based on Festival directives. Please have members with financial hardship enquire.

PREMIUM-CHOICE

All intensives have plenty of spaces through the regular assignment process. Sometimes people rest easier if they know in advance what their assignments will be. If anyone on your troupe would like to have some choices with regard to intensive placement, and know those answers earlier they can take part in a new optional program called Premium Choice. It is a supplemental fee that helps us offer more choices but--- it is not at all necessary.

DEFINITIONS OF TYPES OF TROUPES

1. You are what we consider Pre-existing Vintage Troupe if over 51% of your Troupe is fifty or older and you performed together in a theater prior to the Pandemic

2. You are an  Vintage Innovation Troupe if your troupe met on line after March 13, 2020 and/or  have only practiced and performed virtually. If over 51% of your Troupe is at least 50 years old, you qualify for submissions.

3. In 2021 we will consider Troupes that have at least 1 member age 50 or over

4. In 2021 we will consider Troupes made up of near Vintage players (40-49)

5. If You are an individual Vintage improviser who would like to be made aware of opportunities to form troupes with the intention of practicing and performing prior to and at VIF 2021 please do that on the General Registration Form.
